Stephen F. Austin State Park is a great park for camping in Rv's or tents. Park facilities include: 40 full hook-up campsites with water, electricity, and sewer, 20 screened shelters with electricity and water, 40 water only campsites, a group dining hall, a group recreation hall that is available for day or ovenight use, and a spacious picnic area. It has a maze of hiking trails throughout the park. It is located on the Brazos River and is just a few miles from the town of San Felipe.
